What is Radiesse^TM ?

Radiesse is unlike any other treatment.  Radiesse is a safe and long-lasting treatment to enhance your facial feautures.  It is a completely synthetic compound comprised of microspheres of calcium hydroxylapatite, combined with an aqueous gel. 

What areas can Radiesse^TM  treat?

Typical Radiesse treatments include; smoothing and contouring smile lines or nasolabial forlds, wrinkles at the corner of the mouth, vertical lip lines, acne scars, facial defects or recessions, fine lines, restoring volume in and around the cheeks, providing lip definition and modest enhancement and correcting asymmetrical features.

What should I do prior to treatment?

No pre-treatment testing is required.  Radiesse is made of microspheres of calcium hydroxylapatite,.  Calcium is a natural substance already in the body, so Radiesse causes no allergic reactions or inflammation. 

How long will Radiesse^TM  last?

Unlike prodcuts that loose their effectiveness within only a few months, Radiesse provides years of rejevenation with intermittent touch ups.  It is gradually replaced by the body's own tissue, and slowly dissovles away over several years.

What can I expect during treatment?

You can receive Radiesse treatments from your physician in a simple office procedure.  As Radiesse is gently injected it builds up the tissues of the face, reducing folds and creases and restoring fullness. 

Will the treatment be painful?

Enhancement with Radiesse is relatively painless, a local anesthetic can be used to minimize any discomfort. 

How will I look after the treatment?

Any minor swelling from the injection typcially disappears within 24 hours.  You can comfortably return to normal activites after your treatment.  You will see results immediately.
